There is nothing that fuels my fire more than the moment a business owner goes from overwhelmed and winging it to genuinely confident in how their business runs. I work with service-based business owners and their teams to design their operations properly before they build anything so the systems, technology, and processes they put in place actually fit how they work.
For 13 years I worked in Aquatics, yes, managing pools and wrestling with inefficient systems while leading hundreds of employees and clients. I loved that career deeply. But the lack of smart processes led to soul-crushing repetitive tasks, miscommunication, and a team that was always playing catch-up. I saw how differently things could work with the right systems in place and I became a little obsessed with making that happen. So I took that obsession for clear processes and great team experiences and brought it into the world of small business. Since 2018 I have been working with service-based businesses to design their workflows, document their processes, and choose the technology that actually fits how they work and not the other way around. My approach is different because I never start with technology. I start with the business. We design the full picture first and then find the tools that support it. I call this the Cupcake Method and it is the thing my clients say changed everything for them.
